Assuming you’re with a group of people, you’ll very likely meet the minimum purchase required and all you have to do is use your certificate and pay the differences, tax and tip. For example, I purchased one of the $25 (normally sold for $10) certificates to Horizon Restaurant and Lounge at 80% off, which only cost me $2. The minimum purchase was $35, but since I went to eat with a group of people, the amount was way over that. The total for my order was only $22, and with the $3 I had leftover, that was enough to cover tax. With the 18% gratuity added, I only had to pay $6 more. While my friends were spending way more for their meals, mine only cost me $8. Hot deal, huh? Go out with your friends and do what I did! Hahaha.
